COADY Architects, as part of Stewart Construction Design & Build team, has commenced work on the construction of Ireland’s next generation business hub at Dublin Airport Central, a new business campus being developed by the DAA located directly opposite Terminal 2. Phase 1 will provide 20,000SQM of Grade A, LEED ‘Gold’ Certified flexible office space, an elevated pedestrian walkway with direct connections to the terminal buildings and a significant area of landscaped public realm within the campus. The project is programmed for completion by March 2019.

Common Data Environment
The common data environment is an essential part of working in a BIM environment. Many platforms exist and this can vary on each project. I have worked with numerous platforms, A360, Procore, Viewpoint & Dropbox. To ensure these platforms work efficiently the entire design team including contractors and specialist designers must all agree on standards usually based on PAS 1192 and clearly set out in the Bim Execution Plan for the particular project. This will ensure that the entire design team is working from the most current and up to date drawings.
