COADY Architects, as part of Stewart Construction Design & Build team, has commenced work on the construction of Ireland’s next generation business hub at Dublin Airport Central, a new business campus being developed by the DAA located directly opposite Terminal 2. Phase 1 will provide 20,000SQM of Grade A, LEED ‘Gold’ Certified flexible office space, an elevated pedestrian walkway with direct connections to the terminal buildings and a significant area of landscaped public realm within the campus. The project is programmed for completion by March 2019.

Level 01 BIM
I have worked in a BIM Level 01 or Lonely BIM environment many times mostly for planning documentation where coordination with services or structure are not yet required. Level 01 BIM is useful in the sense that your model drawings, schedules etc can be updated much faster. It also allows you to create 3d or perspective views anywhere in or around the building, which is good when submitting planning documentation or trying to convey an idea to a client who may not be used to reading 2d drawings.
