COADY Architects, as part of Stewart Construction Design & Build team, has commenced work on the construction of Ireland’s next generation business hub at Dublin Airport Central, a new business campus being developed by the DAA located directly opposite Terminal 2. Phase 1 will provide 20,000SQM of Grade A, LEED ‘Gold’ Certified flexible office space, an elevated pedestrian walkway with direct connections to the terminal buildings and a significant area of landscaped public realm within the campus. The project is programmed for completion by March 2019.

Level 02 BIM
Level 02 BIM seems to become the norm within the industry especially for larger scale projects where coordination issues can be resolved during the design stage instead of the construction stage where this can prove much more costly. I am very familiar with working in a level 02 BIM environment. Bim level 02 can only be achieved if the entire design team including contractor are on board and strictly follow all requirements set out in the BIM execution plan.
